Bio-Athlon is an annual biology competion held at Michigan Tech. The purpose of Bio-Athlon is to encourage interest and promote the skills of students in Biology. Eighteen differnt schools with groups of four students are competing on Wednesday, May 3 to tackle four problems. It involves dissection, field identification, population ecology, and microbiology. First place winner's recieve two-hundred dollars savings bond, second place winner's recieve one-hundred dollars savings bond, and third place winner's recieve fifty- dollars savings bond.Their goal is to compete, have a good time, and hopefull make it to first place.
