There will be a JV/Varsity Boys Basketball Meeting for any boys interested in playing basketball next year at the end of the school day (NOON) in Mr. Kentala’s room!

 

THE RETIREMENT PARTY FOR MRS. JOANNE GREUB AND MRS. MYRNA BOUTIN WILL BE HELD AT THE RUNEBERG HALL IN DOLLAR BAY TONIGHT DUE TO THE WEATHER FORECAST! On behalf of everyone at DB-TC Area Schools, I want to wish you both the very best of luck in your retirements! I will miss you so much when September rolls around!  Love Ya Both!

 

ATHLETES FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR: Dollar Bay athletes are able to attend the Portage Medical Clinic in Hancock from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, June 14th to receive a physical for next year. Athletes MUST bring with them a urine sample in a clear container, Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses if you are required to wear them for vision, and a physical form, completed and signed by your parent. These physicals will be offered FREE OF CHARGE. Take advantage of this wonderful offer and be all set to participate in sports next year!

 

There will be a Segment I Driver Education class from June 11-July 9 from 10:00-noon at Hancock High School. You MUST be 14 years, 8 months to register for this class. For on-line registration and more information check out the web at www.driveamericallc.com or call 483-4830.

There will be a Segment II Driver Education classes on June 12, 13, & 14 from 10:00 a.m. - noon at Dollar Bay High School. Another Segment II Class will be held on August 7, 8, 9 from 10:00 - noon at Houghton High Schools. To register you MUST have held your Segment I certificate a minimum of 3 months and driven a minimum of 30 hours (2 at Night). Driver logs will need to be presented at the first class session.

 

Mr. Kentala has information on the Summer Youth Program at M.T.U. in the counselor’s office.

 

2006-2007 Hurry, there are only 7 yearbooks left! The cost is $30. If you would like your name put on the yearbook, the cost is $33. First come, First Served!  Payments can be made to Mr. Bill O’Connor in the computer lab.

 

Saturday, August 11th the Flag Football Program for all 4th, 5th, & 6th grade students interested will begin! Students from Barkell Elementary, Chassell Elementary and T.R. Davis Elementary are invited to participate. See Mr. Patchin if you are interested in registering to participate in the Little Bulldogs Flag Football League this August and September!
