Coach Mrs. Rogan The High School Bowl team wants to purchase a buzzer system to help them in practice. They want that because they often get beat at the buzzer during competitions. The High School Bowl teams practices a lunch time. During this time they ask trivia questions. They continue to practice in the when the High School Bowl season is over with. The team consists of 4 people with 2 alternates. The team members are Abbi Halkola, Megan Goodrich, Tiffany Bond, Heather Aho. The alternates are Andrew Fountaine and Lucas Olli. Other people are involved also they are Grayson Mattila, Ashley Fallon, and Steph Rose. |
| High School Bowl is a competition in which two teams face each other in a game of educated questions. Our team has competed three times this year. Once in Marquette Once in Chassel, and once in Gogebic. In Marquette they played Negaunee and lost. They have 2 halfs in this competition. They have 10 pt toss-up questions and a bonus worth from 5 to 20 points if they get the toss-up right. The team with the most points win. Their next challenge was a tournament in Chassel.. They also had a tournament in Gogebic College. These rules are a different then in Marquette and Chassel. They have 4 rounds, 2 rounds with 10 point toss-up questions, 1 round with 10 point toss-up questions with a a bonus worth 20 points if they get the toss-up question right. The last round is a lighting round. They players have a minute to get the most 10 point questions right they can get. |
