Hot Lunch forms are available in the Principal’s Office. Please stop by and pick one up! Only one form needs to be filled out per family.

Extras available: Garden Salad-$1.50, Chef Salad-$1.75, Turkey Breast Sandwich, Peppered Turkey Sandwich, Honey Ham, Roast Beef Sandwich - all of the previous sandwiches listed are $3.15, Club Sandwich-$3.50, Tuna Sandwich, $2.50, Egg Salad Sandwich-$2.00. (Sandwiches include: Lettuce, Tomato, Onion & choice of cheese - Mozzarella, Swiss, Provolone, Pepper Jack, Cheddar, American) Toppings: Miracle Whip, Mustard, DiJonnaise, Italian Dressing, Jalapeno Peppers. Chili is available (12 oz bowl) for $2.25 and the soup of the day-$1.80. Today‘s soup is Tomato, Wednesday‘s soup is Turkey Rice, Thursday‘s soup is Mexican Fiesta, and Friday‘s soup is Cream of Broccoli. If you want to order any of the extras, you must place order and pay before 1st hour begins each day!

Good Luck to the JV/Varsity Lady Bays in their games at Baraga tonight. The bus will leave Dollar Bay at 4:00 p.m.

JUNIOR WORKING CLASS ~ There will be a meeting at noon TODAY in room 304.

TEACHERS: Grade sheets were due in this morning. The following teachers need to get them in a.s.a.p.: Ms. Kris Callog, Mrs. Paula McKaig, Mr. Bill O’Connor, and Mr. Derek Gardner.

There will be a student council meeting at noon TOMORROW in room 301.

The following students will be gone TOMORROW during 1-3 hours: Evan Miner, Isaac Kyllonen, Mike Miner, and Dustin Joyal. Their absences are sanctioned.

There will be a short assembly in the auditorium for students in grades 7-12 during 5th hour TOMORROW. Students are asked to report to their 5th hour classes and we will announce when to report to the auditorium.

Following the assembly 5th hour TOMORROW, all yearbook students should report to the yearbook office. Sorry for the late notice ~ I just found out the rep was coming.

The Jr. High SADD Group is holding a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for students in grades 3-6. The cost to attend is $2 per person. Winners will receive prizes. Registration forms and $6 sign-up fee are due in TOMORROW. Give to Claire Meneguzzo or Mrs. McKaig. Plans are underway for a 7-12 Grade 3-0n-3 Basketball tournament in December. Stay tuned for further details.

Casey Alger and Grayson Mattila will be absent on THURSDAY, October 16th to attend the Collective Bargaining Workshop at the CCISD. Their absences are sanctioned.

7th graders ~ Please check you band, gym, and coat lockers to see if you have Ben Hying’s royal blue Dollar Bay jacket mixed in with your things. His jacket is missing!

The 10th grade working class will be selling flowers for Sweetest Day (delivery on October 17). Sign up in the Principal’s Office.

I have information and forms available in the principal’s office for anyone interested in participating with the dental program. The deadline for returning forms for participation is November 10.

I have one navy blue Dollar Bay Basketball Sweatshirt for sale in the office. It has a basketball and hoop embroidered on the breast. The cost is $20. Stop by the Principal’s Office if you are interested.

FUN DAY WILL BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 26th (4th - 7th HOURS) AT M.T.U.’S S.D.C. STUDENTS WHO RECEIVE A DISCIPLINARY REFERRAL OR HAVE UNEXCUSED ABSENCES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND. You will also need to have your emergency cards and student/parent handbook acknowledgments turned in!

Any girls or boys interested in skiing cooperatively with Chassell and Jeffers High Schools this year should sign up in the Principal’s Office.

Any students interested in playing HOCKEY this year should stop in the office and sign-up with Mr. Tarbox or Karen.

Cheerleading Shoes are in! The cost is $36 and you may pick pay for them and pick them up in the Superintendent’s Office.

Any student interested in purchasing a lock for their locker should stop by the principal’s office. The cost is $5 and your money will be refunded to you at the end of the school year if you return the lock. ONLY SCHOOL LOCKS MAY BE USED ON LOCKERS!

A reminder to students to turn in their EMERGENCY CARDS and DROP/ADD SLIPS and PARENT/STUDENT HANDBOOK ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS to the Principal’s Office a.s.a.p.! Also, a reminder to students who drive to school to park their cars ONLY in the parking lot by T.R. Davis. Do NOT park anywhere else! The following students still need to get EMERGENCY CARDS turned in: Jordan Saterstad, Zach Maatta, Vance Wuebben, Samantha French, Joshua Morrison, Jesse Frantila, Ward Wuebben, Cole Jouppe, and Dane Lipka. SADD RED RIBBON WEEK will be held October 23-31. More information will be given as we get closer to the days.

The annual Halloween Costume Band Concert for students in grades 5-12 will be held on Monday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. The annual Elementary Halloween Party and Parade will be held on Friday, October 31. The Parade will start at 2:45 p.m. and will proceed down Lake Street to Main and around to Granite Avenue and back to the school.
